Having never tried internet radio until I briefly used a Roku Soundbridge, I don't have a lot of experience in this area. If MPD is installed, then it's easy enough to add radio stations into playlists. Radio can then be accessed via phone, tablet, laptop etc. and "Now playing" appears in many cases.
Using for example ftp, create/upload playlists in /share/Apps/mpd/playlists/ giving them an individual .m3u filename, to group them. The #EXTINF line will give you a better title to identify them and is optional.
